Online play rules

Account

One account per person. You are responsible for your password; if you suspect someone else knows it, change it in the game (Settings → “Account”) or reset it with “Forgot password?”.

Nickname

Other players see only your nickname. Not allowed: swearing and insults, hate speech, sexual content, names of real people without their consent, posing as the game’s staff, advertising and links. The game itself refuses some such nicknames, but not all.

A nickname that breaks these rules may be replaced with the default “Крапка-NNNN”, or the player may be hidden from the tables.

Fair play

In a rated game a person plays, not a program. Not allowed: hints from the engine or any other program or person during a game; arranged results and losing on purpose; several accounts to raise your own or someone else’s rating.

Rating

The rating is amateur. We may correct or reset it if a game was played against the rules or went wrong because of a server error. Beta: before the game comes to the App Store, beta-test accounts and ratings may be reset (“season 0”) — we will warn in advance.

Complaints and blocking

Send a complaint about a player to support@krapky.com with their nickname; the “Report” and “Block” buttons will appear in the game together with rated games. The game will not pair you in rated games with a player you blocked.

What happens on a breach

Depending on the breach: a warning, a changed nickname, hiding from the tables, a reset rating or a deleted account. If you think a decision was wrong, write to support@krapky.com.

Online play is in beta: it works, but it is still changing, and the server may be unavailable. About your data — Privacy policy.
